From videos circulating on social media, the thief is seen wearing a\nblack sweater and a pink hat. The thief approached the victim\u2019s house\nwhile observing the surroundings.<\/p>\n
It did not take long; the thief took the bicycle and left the\nscene.<\/p>\n
Cinere Police Chief Comr. (Kompol) Chairul Saleh said the theft\noccurred on Thursday, 5 March 2026, at about 8:00 pm WIB on Jalan Pinang\nII, Limo, Depok. The homeowner at that time was conducting Tarawih\nprayers.<\/p>\n
\u2018The incident happened around 8:00 pm WIB at the time the occupants\nof the house or the victim were performing Tarawih prayers,\u2019 Kompol\nChairul said in a statement on Sunday, 8 March.<\/p>\n
The chronology began during Tarawih. Then the CCTV alarm sounded and\nthere was the clatter of dishes.<\/p>\n
\u2018So the congregants named Oma went out from the musalla to check the\nsituation outside and at that time Oma\u2019s relative was approached by a\nchild who said that the H. Kojai bicycle had been taken by an unknown\nperson,\u2019 he explained.<\/p>\n
The witness then informed the owner that the bicycle had been stolen.\nThe victim checked the CCTV while the witness chased the thief but could\nnot locate him.<\/p>\n
