        "content": "<p>Cathay improves services<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Passengers flying Cathay Pacific between<br>\nIndonesia and Hong Kong will enjoy their own television set in<br>\nall first, business and economy class seats starting next month.<\/p>\n<p>Cathay Pacific&apos;s manager in Indonesia, Gregory Hughes, said<br>\nyesterday the service improvement plan, particularly the<br>\nintroduction of personal televisions in economy class, was part<br>\nof a US$150 million services upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>He said the service upgrade plan in Indonesia would cost about<br>\nRp 600 million (about $253,000).<\/p>\n<p>Cathay Pacific, which began serving Indonesia in 1969,<br>\noperates 20 nonstop flights from Jakarta, Denpasar and Surabaya<br>\nto Hong Kong every week.<\/p>\n<p>The airline operates Boeing B-747-200s, Airbus A-330-300s and<br>\nA-340-400 jets on its Indonesia routes.<\/p>\n<p>Cathay Pacific is a publicly-listed firm but also owned by<br>\nSwire Pacific Ltd and China&apos;s CITIC Pacific Ltd.
