        "content": "<p>Car Sales Rise 30 Percent<br>\nTuesday, 10 October, 2006 | 09:17 WIB<\/p>\n<p>TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Approaching the Eid holiday, leading car producers in Indonesia have recorded sales rises pf 30 percent compared to previous months.<\/p>\n<p>Joko Trisanyoto, PT Toyota Astra Motor\u2019s Marketing Director, said the rise of sales target approaching Eid had already been foreseen.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that during August to September, 2005, Toyota has booked up to 94,600 units in sales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntil last week, 61,900 unit sales have been reached,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Wiwie Kurnia, Managing Director of PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional, said that a rise between 15 and 20 percent of sales has already been seen.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wiwie, the company\u2019s car sales reaches 8,400 units per month on average, higher than the previous month of between 6,000 and 7,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>Sudirman, Vice Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, also acknowledged the recent sales rise.<\/p>\n<p>RR Ariyani<\/p>",
