        "content": "<p>The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) has confirmed\nthat the Car Free Day (CFD) will continue to be held throughout Ramadan\n2026. The CFD will remain a weekly Sunday event along the Jalan Jenderal\nSudirman-MH Thamrin corridor, subject to a number of special\nprovisions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CFD will still go ahead,\u201d said Jakarta Transportation Agency\n(Dishub) head Syafrin Liputo to reporters on Saturday (21\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Yayat Sudrajat, Head of the Control and Operations Division at the\nJakarta Transportation Agency, explained that the holding of the CFD\nduring Ramadan had been agreed upon by the entire CFD Working Team. He\nsaid the event would continue to run from 6am to 10am Western Indonesian\nTime (WIB).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe holding of the CFD during Ramadan has been agreed by the entire\nCFD Working Team \u2014 the provincial-level CFD in DKI Jakarta will continue\nto be held every Sunday from 6am to 10am WIB,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the stipulation that there will be no MSME street vendors and\nno event participants,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Yayat urged the public to maintain cleanliness and order during the\nCFD throughout Ramadan. He also asked the public to comply with the\nexisting rules of conduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch as not bringing pets, not distributing brochures or flyers and\nthe like, and not discussing political or ethno-religious issues during\nactivities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotor vehicles should be parked in the official parking areas\nprovided, not on public roads,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
