Golkar has proposed a list of candidates for the House of
\nRepresentatives (DPR) in which 30 are relatives of high
\nofficials. Their numbers are in the higher bracket of the list so
\nthey stand a greater chance to be elected to the House.<\/p>\n
I urge Golkar not to propose candidates of high officials'
\nfamilies, because according to our observation and experience,
\nmost of them will not dare to voice the aspirations of the
\npeople. If they want to improve government agencies, the
\nsituation is more difficult if the persons to be corrected are
\ntheir own relatives.<\/p>\n
Consequently, our House of Representatives would not be able
\nto express the interests of the people. It is also not unlikely
\nthey will make use of their position for certain interests.<\/p>\n
Golkar should delete the names of candidates related to
\nofficials, because it may reduce the support of Golkar voters.<\/p>\n
