        "content": "<p>Canada confirms bar dumping<\/p>\n<p>OTTAWA (Dow Jones): The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency<br>\nconfirmed that certain concrete reinforcing bar products from<br>\nIndonesia, Japan, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Taiwan and Ukraine<br>\nwere dumped into Canada at an average of 30 percent below normal<br>\nprice levels.<\/p>\n<p>In a news release, the agency said this reaffirms a<br>\npreliminary decision made on Feb. 1, that to eliminate the<br>\ndumping, duties ranging from 25 percent to 42 percent will<br>\ncontinue to be imposed on imports from the seven countries until<br>\nthe Canadian International Trade Tribunal concludes its inquiry.<\/p>\n<p>The agency said it started an investigation in November after<br>\nreceiving a complaint from Hamilton, Ont.-based Stelco Inc.. The<br>\ncompany claimed that the dumping of concrete reinforcing bar<br>\nproducts was harming Canadian industry.<\/p>",
