        "content": "<p>Based on information from Bimas Islam Kemenag, the time for carrying\nout the qurbani begins after the Eid al-Adha prayers on 10 Zulhijah\nuntil Tasyrik Day, i.e., 11-13 Zulhijah. Therefore, the qurbani for this\nyear can be conducted on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Wednesday, 27 May 2026 (10 Zulhijah 1447 H): after the Eid\nal-Adha prayers<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Thursday, 28 May 2026 (11 Zulhijah 1447 H)<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Friday, 29 May 2026 (12 Zulhijah 1447 H)<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Saturday, 30 May 2026 (13 Zulhijah 1447 H)<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Origins of Tasyrik Day<\/p>\n<p>Tasyrik Day is the three days after Eid al-Adha (10 Zulhijah), namely\n11, 12, and 13 Zulhijah. These three days are special in Islam because\nduring these times Muslims are allowed to slaughter their sacrificial\nanimals.<\/p>\n<p>Quoting the official MUI site, Tasyrik or tasyriq in Arabic is the\nmasdar form of \u201csyarraqa\u201d which means \u201csunrise or to dry something\u201d.\nTasyrik is also interpreted as facing east (the direction of\nsunlight).<\/p>\n<p>The prohibition of fasting on Tasyrik Days is because the time is\nhighly encouraged to enjoy various dishes and preparations from the meat\nof the sacrificial animal. In hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be\nupon him) is reported as saying the following about this\nprohibition:<\/p>\n<p>From Ibn Umar radhiyallahu anhuma, they said: \u201cIt is not permitted to\nfast on the Days of Tasyrik except for the one who does not have a\nsacrificial animal when performing Hajj.\u201d (HR. Bukhari, no. 1859)<\/p>\n<p>Tasyrik Day is also called a day for eating and drinking. The Prophet\nMuhammad (peace be upon him) said: \u201cThe Day of Arafah, the Day of Eid\nal-Adha, and the Tasyrik Days are our Eid for Muslims, and they are days\nfor eating and drinking.\u201d (HR. An-Nasa\u2019i, no. 2954)<\/p>",
