        "content": "<p>The Bureau of Facilities and Infrastructure (BSP) of Universitas\nAhmad Dahlan (UAD) held a Refreshment Training for security personnel on\n15 and 17 June 2026. The activity, which took place in the Smart Class\non the 8th floor of the Noeng Muhadjir Building, carried the theme\n\u2018Friendly, Responsive, and Adaptive\u2019 as an effort to improve the service\nquality and professionalism of security officers within the campus\nenvironment. The training presented material on excellent service,\nprotocol, and handling emergency conditions. The activity served as a\nrefresher for the knowledge and skills of security personnel so they can\nprovide excellent service to the entire academic community and visitors\nto UAD. Head of the UAD Bureau of Facilities and Infrastructure,\nProf.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Ir. Zahrul Mufrodi, S.T., M.T., IPM., explained that security\nis the frontline that first interacts with guests and the public who\ncome to the campus. Therefore, the quality of service provided by\nsecurity officers greatly influences the institution\u2019s image. \u2018Security\nis the foremost face of UAD. Besides carrying out security functions,\nthey also represent the professionalism, friendliness, responsibility,\nand orderliness of the campus in providing services to the community,\u2019\nhe said. The theme \u2018Friendly, Responsive, and Adaptive\u2019 was chosen to\nstrengthen the character of security personnel in carrying out their\nduties. Friendly means showing kindness, politeness, and pleasantness in\ninteractions. Responsive means being able to provide responses quickly,\naccurately, and according to the situation faced. Adaptive means being\nable to adjust effectively to various changes and challenges. According\nto him, the role of security is very important in supporting the quality\nof campus services. Besides maintaining security, they are also\nimplementers of the 5S culture (Smile, Greet, Salute, Polite, and\nCourteous) which reflects the values of an Islamic and progressive\ncampus. Security also acts as the frontline in implementing campus\ncrisis management when facing emergency conditions. Through this\nRefreshment Training, participants are expected to have the same\nexcellent service standards in applying excellent service. In addition,\neach person is also expected to be able to perform first aid in\nemergency situations so that risk management and handling of emergency\nconditions can run well. BSP UAD affirmed that similar training will\ncontinue to be held periodically as a sustainable programme. This\nactivity is considered important to ensure every security personnel\nalways receives refreshed knowledge and skills so they are ready to\nprovide the best service and able to face various developing situations\nin the campus environment. \u2018UAD Security is not just a security officer,\nbut also a reflection of the campus.
