        "content": "<p>Caltex warns of labor, crime problems<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Indonesia's biggest oil contractor PT Caltex Pacific<br>\nIndonesia is concerned production will decrease due to criminal<br>\nacts and labor problems in its operation area, a senior company<br>\nofficial said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Caltex, owned by Chevron Texaco, produced about 616,000<br>\nbarrels per day (bpd) of oil in April from its operation area in<br>\nCentral Sumatra, compared with 610,000 bpd in March.<\/p>\n<p>\"The (level) of criminal acts is increasing in our operation<br>\nareas. One of our employees was killed last month.\" Caltex senior<br>\nvice president Yudiana Ardiwinata<\/p>\n<p>\"Several rigs' production (has) stopped because of a labor<br>\nstrike from our drilling firm contractor.
