        "content": "<p>Caltex plans HQ in Manila<\/p>\n<p>MANILA (AFX-ASIA): Caltex (Asia) Limited is planning to set up<br>\na regional headquarters in the country, the Securities and<br>\nExchange Commission said.<\/p>\n<p>Caltex (Asia), a subsidiary of Caltex Corp, plans to use the<br>\nregional headquarters to provide support functions to Caltex<br>\ncompanies in the Asia-Pacific region in the areas of information<br>\ntechnology, fiscal services and human resources.<\/p>\n<p>Caltex (Asia) is permitted to establish a regional<br>\nheadquarters provided that it complies with the omnibus<br>\ninvestments code stating that regional headquarters will not<br>\nderive income from sources within the country, limiting its<br>\nactivities to supervisory, communications and the coordination of<br>\nits subsidiaries in the region, the SEC said.<\/p>",
