Jakarta \u2014 Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, commonly known as Cak Imin,\nchairman of the National Leadership Council of the Awakening of the\nNation Party (PKB), dispatched 1,200 participants on the \u201cFree Mudik PKB\nEid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri\u201d programme, who departed utilising 25 buses to\nvarious regions across Java Island.<\/p>\n
The destinations included Semarang, Rembang, Klaten, Surabaya,\nWonogiri, and Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery year we implement this as part of our togetherness, mutual\ncooperation, working shoulder-to-shoulder and sharing joy to help our\nbrothers and sisters return home for mudik,\u201d said Cak Imin at the PKB\nNational Leadership Council headquarters in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n
He further stated that the free mudik programme represented PKB\u2019s\nenduring commitment to fraternity.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe spirit of mutual cooperation, togetherness, and brotherhood \u2014\nand not forgetting our roots, or returning to our origins. We carry this\nout every year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, he expressed hope that the travellers departing through\nthe PKB programme would arrive safely at their destinations.<\/p>\n
