Cahaya Hati donates library<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: The Cahaya Hati Bangsa Foundation has donated a
\nlibrary containing 700 books to fishermen and their families in
\nWest Mauk village, Mauk district, Tangerang regency, the
\nlibrary's manager Yaya Sunarya said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
"The books were donated by some publishers, including
\nGramedia," Yaya, also the principal of Setia Bhakti state
\nelementary school, was quoted by Antara as saying.<\/p>\n
He said the foundation had donated Rp 6.5 million to build the
\nfive meter by five meter library building, which was equipped
\nwith desks and long benches.<\/p>\n
He said the library was not only for children and students,
\nbut also for their parents as many of the books were about
\nfishing and sewing skills.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, foundation chairman Aziz Miraza said that the
\nfoundation had set up a cooperative arrangement with a private
\ntelevision station, a restaurant chain and a book publisher to
\nbuild 13 other libraries in deprived areas across the country.--JP<\/p>",
