        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto has\nordered the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia to\nseek supplies of crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from\nRussia.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel TNI Teddy Indra\nWijaya, Russian President Vladimir Putin had already expressed\nwillingness to enhance cooperation on oil and LPG reserves during his\nmeeting with Prabowo in Moscow on Monday (13 April 2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Moscow, the meeting with President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the\nenhancement of long-term national energy supply cooperation, including\ncrude oil and LPG reserves,\u201d Teddy wrote on the Cabinet Secretariat\u2019s\nInstagram account on Wednesday (15 April 2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Prabowo has tasked Minister of Energy and Mineral\nResources Bahlil Lahadalia to meet with President Putin\u2019s special envoy\nand the Russian Minister of Energy for further detailed discussions\ntoday in Moscow,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd of course, long-term economic investments,\u201d Teddy added.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy stated that Russia and France are superpower nations.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, both countries are permanent members of the UN Security\nCouncil with veto power, as well as the largest producers of natural\nresources in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith significant and concrete results for Indonesia,\u201d Teddy\nemphasised.<\/p>\n<p>During the same working visit, Minister of Energy and Mineral\nResources Bahlil Lahadalia stated that Indonesia will obtain supplies of\ncrude oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Bahlil said that in a forum with Sergey, both parties discussed\nconcrete opportunities for energy cooperation that can be immediately\nfollowed up, particularly the certainty of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG\nsupplies.<\/p>\n<p>Russia expressed readiness to support Indonesia\u2019s energy resilience,\nincluding one aspect of oil and natural gas supplies as well as\nstorage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, what has been agreed upon has yielded quite good\nresults where we can obtain crude reserves to add to ours.
