        "content": "<p>Busway to get more women drivers<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Busway operator TransJakarta Busway revealed on<br>\nThursday that at least one third of its drivers would be women.<\/p>\n<p>\"They drive well, they hit the brakes smoothly ... We have received<br>\npositive responses from our passengers,\" said TransJakarta<br>\nchairman Bambang Gardjito.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the women drivers would be hired for the existing<br>\nBlok M-Kota busway route and the two new routes running from East<br>\nJakarta's Pulogadung to Central Jakarta's Harmoni and from<br>\nHarmoni to West Jakarta's Kalideres.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, nine women hired in April are working as drivers on<br>\nthe existing busway route. They work the peak morning rush-hour<br>\nshifts, starting at 7 a.m. -- JP<\/p>",
