Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga\nHartarto told President Prabowo Subianto that business associations both\ndomestic and international welcomed the establishment of the state-owned\nenterprise Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI).<\/p>\n
Airlangga said the appreciation was conveyed at a meeting with\nassociations regarding the socialisation of export earnings and the\nexport process through DSI.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey appreciate the policies taken by the government,\u201d Airlangga\nsaid after meeting with President Prabowo at the Presidential Palace\nComplex, Jakarta, on Friday, 22 May 2026.<\/p>\n
According to Airlangga, nearly all business associations expressed\nsupport for the government\u2019s policies and are ready to cooperate with\nthe body formed by the government. \u201cThey are ready to cooperate with the\nbody formed by the government,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
It is noted that, before meeting Prabowo, Airlangga had indicated\nthat industry associations gave a positive response to the establishment\nof PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI). He said associations\nunderstand the formation of DSI and are preparing its implementation.\n\u201cThe response is positive. So the associations understand and are\npreparing for implementation,\u201d he said at the Presidential Palace\nComplex, Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Airlangga also said the associations provided input regarding the\nimportance of transparency and clarity in the establishment and\nstructure of the new body. \u201cWhat they request is transparency and\nclarity from the regulator of the new state-owned enterprise,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Minister of Investment and Hilirisasi as well as Chief\nExecutive Officer (CEO) of Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani said they\nwere listening to input and conducting socialisation with associations\nof palm oil commodities and iron alloy related to the establishment of\nPT DSI. \u201cWe had a meeting earlier; we will listen to inputs first. Later\nthis afternoon, from all associations, Kadin, Apindo, palm oil\nassociations, APBI, coal, all. We are also carrying out socialisation,\nso we will start at 4 pm,\u201d Rosan told the Presidential Palace Complex,\nJakarta, on Thursday (21\/5).<\/p>\n
