"summary": "Bank Indonesia reports that business activity performance in the first quarter of 2026 remained stable, as indicated by the Weighted Net Balance (WNB) of 10.11 per cent, slightly lower than the previous quarter's 10.61 per cent. Positive contributions came from sectors such as financial services, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, manufacturing, and wholesale and retail trade, driven by increased consumer demand during national religious holidays and the start of the harvest season. Looking ahead, respondents anticipate further improvement in Q2 2026, with a WNB of 14.80 per cent, supported by ongoing harvests, reduced rainfall boosting mining activities, and the initiation of construction projects.",
