        "content": "<p>Buses grounded for overcharging<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The city administration has stopped 13 city buses<br>\nfrom operating for allegedly imposing higher fares.<\/p>\n<p>\"The move was taken based on public reports and the findings<br>\nof our officers,\" said the newly installed head of the Jakarta<br>\nTransportation Agency, Nurachman, on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the official fare of air-conditioned buses was Rp<br>\n3,500 (34 US cents), but some bus conductors on city buses asked<br>\npassengers to pay Rp 4,000, particularly if the buses passed by<br>\ntoll roads.<\/p>\n<p>City buses that had charged higher than the official fares<br>\nincluded those that serve the Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta-<br>\nBekasi, West Java route, and Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta-Bekasi<br>\nroute, and Blok M, South Jakarta-Bekasi route.<\/p>\n<p>Nurachman stressed that the administration did not allow city<br>\nbus conductors to charge any additional money. --Antara<\/p>",
