Bus crash kills four in Bogor<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Four people were killed and 10 seriously injured
\non Monday morning in a bus collision on Jagorawi toll road in the
\nSentul area, which witnesses said was caused by the bus driver's
\nnegligence.<\/p>\n
Passengers of Indah Murni bus repeatedly warned bus driver
\nCecep Syahputra of his reckless driving as soon as they left
\nBaranangsiang bus terminal in Bogor, said one passenger, Tuti,
\n35, who suffered light injuries. But the driver did not listen,
\nshe added.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. when Cecep was
\nattempting to pass another Indah Murni bus in front of him, but
\ninstead hit the truck, the head of the traffic unit at Bogor
\nPolice, Comr. Sugiri, said.<\/p>\n
"The bus driver was driving recklessly. He tried to pass the
\nother vehicle from the left, and hit a truck which was parked on
\nthe side of the road, which was having a tire changed by the
\ndriver," he said.<\/p>\n
Cecep fled the scene immediately after the accident.<\/p>\n
There were 50 passengers on the bus. The fatalities are: Udan
\nSudarsono, 30, Apid, 40, Sukanda, 30, and Drajat, 36.<\/p>\n
The ten injured are being treated at Bina Husada Hospital in
\nCibinong, West Java. (21)<\/p>",
