        "content": "<p>Three Chinese nationals were secured by the Ngurah Rai Immigration\nOffice at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Saturday\n(2\/5\/2026). The trio are suspected of involvement in the criminal\noffence of aggravated theft in a luxury housing area in Bogor.<\/p>\n<p>The three foreign male nationals are initialled JW (33), RW (37), and\nHL (39). They are known to have entered Indonesia using a Visit Stay\nPermit Visa on Arrival.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Bugie Kurniawan,\nemphasised that his office is capable of securing anyone on the wanted\npersons list (DPO), provided the information is conveyed quickly and\naccurately.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe apprehension of these three Chinese nationals is proof that\nentry points to Indonesian territory, particularly I Gusti Ngurah Rai\nAirport, cannot be used as a loophole to escape the clutches of the law.\nWe contribute to safeguarding the sovereignty and security of the state,\nand will continue to synergise with all law enforcement apparatus to\nensure that every lawbreaker is held accountable for their actions,\u201d\nBugie explained in a written statement received by detikBali.<\/p>\n<p>The burglary they carried out occurred on Sunday, 22 March 2026,\naround 20:45 WIB. The perpetrators wore masks depicting a footballer\u2019s\nface and black gloves to enter the victim\u2019s home, Susanto. At the time,\nthe victim and his family had been on holiday in China since 18 March\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>After committing the act, the three are believed to have attempted to\nflee abroad via Bali. They planned to depart for Kuala Lumpur on\nSaturday (2\/5\/2026) using Indonesia AirAsia flight QZ550.<\/p>\n<p>However, during the departure inspection process, immigration\nofficers detected irregularities and conducted further checks on their\nidentities. The result was that they were strongly suspected as the\nperpetrators of the theft based on a police report from Bogor City\nPolice Resort.<\/p>\n<p>At 07:00 WITA, their departure was delayed. The three foreign\nnationals, along with their passports, were handed over to Bogor City\nPolice Resort for further examination at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport\nPolice Resort. For their actions, the three are charged under Article\n477 of the Criminal Code regarding Aggravated Theft.<\/p>",
