'Bung' Tomo a national hero<\/p>\n

While watching an TVRI\/SCTV news broadcast the other day, I
\nwas surprised to learn that Bung Tomo was awarded the honor of
\nnational hero. But later, while watching a documentary about the
\n1945 Youth Congress in Yogyakarta, I was disappointed when the
\nbroadcaster said: "While the congress was in progress, the East
\nJava delegate had to return to Surabaya..."<\/p>\n
I think TVRI underestimated the national hero, as the delegate
\nhaving to return to Surabaya was Bung Tomo himself. I saw the
\nevent (in Yogyakarta square) with my own eyes, because I had gone
\nto Yogyakarta from Bandung to meet with Bung Tomo. TVRI did not
\nwant to mention the name of the hero by name. What a shame!<\/p>\n
