        "content": "<p>Bunas pays dividends<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Bunas Finance of the Ongko Group received<br>\napproval from its shareholders yesterday to pay dividends of Rp<br>\n100 (4.2 U.S. cents) per share, totaling Rp 6.3 billion or 31<br>\npercent of the company's 1995 after-tax profits of Rp 20 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Bunas's president, Francis Lay Sioe Ho, said after an annual<br>\nshareholders meeting yesterday that the company expected a 20<br>\npercent increase in net profits this year.<\/p>\n<p>Bunas, a multi-finance firm listed on the Jakarta Stock<br>\nExchange, also plans to open five branches this year in Denpasar<br>\n(Bali), Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan) and Pekanbaru (Riau),<br>\nbringing the number of offices to 21 across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Francis added that the new automotive policy, which allows PT<br>\nTimor Putra Nasional to produce cheaper cars, is likely to affect<br>\nthe company's consumer financing business.
