Head of the BUMN Regulatory Agency and Danantara Chief Operating\nOfficer (COO) Dony Oskaria stated that Danantara Resources Indonesia\n(DSI) has officially become a state-owned enterprise (SOE).<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has officially become a BUMN today, as the process requires 1%\nstate ownership with special authority. It is now a BUMN,\u201d Dony said\nwhen met at the Senayan Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Monday, 25 May\n2026.<\/p>\n
Dony confirmed the signing of the decree establishing DSI as a BUMN\non Monday morning. However, the mechanism for exporting natural\nresources such as coal, palm oil, and ferro alloy is still being\nfinalised.<\/p>\n
\u201cFurther details will be provided shortly. It is currently being\nprocessed,\u201d Dony said.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo Subianto announced during a DPR RI plenary session\nat the Nusantara Building, MPR\/DPR\/DPD RI Complex in Jakarta on\nWednesday, 20 May 2026, that the government has issued a Government\nRegulation (PP) on the Management of Natural Resource Commodity\nExports.<\/p>\n
The government subsequently established PT DSI as a company with a\nspecific mandate to manage and oversee transactions involving strategic\nnatural resource exports.<\/p>\n
The establishment of DSI was prompted by persistent instances of\nunder-invoicing and transfer pricing in Indonesia\u2019s commodity exports\nover the years.<\/p>\n
Under-invoicing is a fraudulent practice where importers or exporters\ndeliberately report lower values or prices on invoices than the actual\ntransaction value.<\/p>\n
Transfer pricing refers to the setting of prices in transactions\nbetween affiliated companies, whether involving goods, services,\nintangible assets, or funding.<\/p>\n
In implementation, DSI will operate in two phases.
