        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Perum Bulog is distributing rice and cooking oil\naid simultaneously to 32.3 million beneficiary families (KPM) as an\neffort to maintain food security and assist the public in meeting basic\nneeds ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we at Bulog, along with all regional directors and branch\nheads, are carrying out the handover of food aid simultaneously across\nthe country at our 565 branches,\u201d said Perum Bulog President Director\nAhmad Rizal Ramdhani during the symbolic handover centred in Marunda,\nCilincing, North Jakarta, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Rizal, together with relevant stakeholders, distributed the aid\nsymbolically to 10 food aid recipients (PBP) in the Marunda area,\nrepresenting the national distribution.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the programme is part of the government\u2019s efforts to\nprovide economic stimulus to boost public purchasing power while\nanticipating potential price increases ahead of the National Religious\nHoliday (HBKN) of Eid al-Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>Rizal emphasised that Bulog is fully committed to maintaining the\navailability and stability of national food supplies through various\nprogrammes, including this food aid distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ensure that the distribution process runs smoothly and on target,\nso that the benefits can be directly felt by those in need,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The distributed food aid includes rice and cooking oil commodities\nfor the February and March 2026 allocations. Each KPM receives 10 kg of\nrice and 2 litres of cooking oil per allocation, so for two months, each\nrecipient obtains a total of 20 kg of rice and 4 litres of cooking oil,\ndistributed at once.<\/p>\n<p>Nationally, the aid is given to 33,244,408 Food Aid Recipients whose\ndata comes from the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN). The\ntotal budget prepared for the programme reaches 664,888 tonnes of rice\nand 132,977 kilolitres of cooking oil.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that Bulog continues to accelerate distribution so that\nthe aid can be received by the public on target and on time. Even after\nEid al-Fitr, distribution will be maximised.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, this will continue until the distribution is\ncomplete, and even after Eid al-Fitr, we will still distribute it to the\ncommunities according to the DTSEN data provided by the Ministry of\nSocial Affairs,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Through synergy with various parties, Bulog is optimistic that this\nfood aid programme can have a positive impact in maintaining community\neconomic stability and strengthening national food resilience amid price\ndynamics and needs ahead of HBKN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the distribution and delivery process to the public, Bulog will\nsynergise with Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas friends, including kelurahan\nfriends, so that the distribution process is faster because the number\nis now more than 32.3 million (aid recipients),\u201d said Rizal.<\/p>\n<p>Several residents welcomed the government\u2019s rice and cooking oil aid\ndistribution ahead of Lebaran positively, as it is seen as very helpful\nin meeting basic needs and lightening household expenditure burdens.<\/p>\n<p>Uswatun Hasanah, a resident of RT 2 Kampung Bidara, Marunda Village,\nadmitted that the aid is very beneficial for Lebaran needs, especially\nin preparing dishes like ketupat with family at home.<\/p>\n<p>She said the received rice and cooking oil aid is quite helpful, even\nthough she did not previously face significant difficulties in obtaining\nbasic commodities in the market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, it helps for Lebaran, (the rice aid) for making\nketupat, will be used for ketupat,\u201d said Uswatun.<\/p>\n<p>Karniti, another resident of Kampung Bidara, expressed similar\nsentiments, saying she is very pleased to receive the aid and hopes\nsimilar programmes can be carried out routinely so that daily food needs\nof the public can continue to be met without having to buy.<\/p>\n<p>She also expressed thanks to President Prabowo Subianto for the aid\nprovided, and prayed for the government\u2019s continued success in\nimplementing programmes that favour the little people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy to get this aid to fill Lebaran ketupat and for daily\nmeals,\u201d said Karniti, a mother of five.<\/p>",
