        "content": "<p>Denpasar (ANTARA) - Perum Bulog Finance Director Hendra Susanto has\ndirectly inspected the readiness of rice stocks for the government\u2019s\nfood aid programme in Bali. Hendra stated in Denpasar on Thursday that\nthe food aid programme is a strategic government initiative aimed at\nmaintaining food security while strengthening public purchasing power.\n\u201cTherefore, stock readiness, rice quality and smooth distribution are\npriorities that must be ensured by all Bulog personnel,\u201d he said. The\nrice stock in Bali is sufficient to support the distribution of food aid\nfor the July 2026 allocation. Based on Bulog\u2019s monitoring, the current\nstock of Public Service Obligation Government Rice Reserves (CBP) held\nby Bulog Bali amounts to 11,464,157 kg. The visit was centred at the\nSempidi Warehouse Complex in Badung Regency, one of the government\u2019s\nrice storage centres in Bali. The warehouse inspection was conducted\nthoroughly, covering the condition of the warehouse, rice quality, stock\nadequacy, implementation of storage standards, and readiness of\ndistribution facilities and infrastructure. \u201cThis step is a form of\nPerum Bulog\u2019s commitment to ensuring that food aid can be distributed to\nbeneficiary communities on time, on target, and with maintained rice\nquality,\u201d Hendra said. He further emphasised that all regional units\nmust ensure every stage of the food aid distribution runs according to\noperational standards so that the public receives rice of the best\nquality. Following the central inspection, Perum Bulog Regional Leader\nfor Bali, Simon Melkisedek Lakapu, conveyed that the CBP stock held by\nthe Bali regional office is currently in a safe condition and sufficient\nto meet the needs of the July 2026 food aid distribution and other\ngovernment programmes. \u201cWe have carried out various preparatory steps,\nfrom ensuring rice quality and distribution fleet readiness to intensive\ncoordination with local governments and related agencies,\u201d he said. \u201cThe\nPSO stock we currently hold is around 11 million tonnes for Bali\nProvince; with this readiness, we are optimistic that distribution will\nrun smoothly according to the schedule set by the government,\u201d Simon\nadded. For Bulog Bali, the central director\u2019s visit not only ensured\nstock readiness but also served as a momentum to strengthen all\npersonnel to maintain good warehouse governance, improve public service\nquality, and enhance synergy with all stakeholders in maintaining\nregional food stability.
