        "content": "<p>Singaraja, Bali (ANTARA) - The Buleleng District Education Council\nhas stated its full support for the implementation of Government\nRegulation (PP) Number 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic\nSystems in Child Protection (PP Tunas). \u201cWe view this regulation as a\nstrategic step in responding to the increasingly complex challenges of\nthe digital era, particularly in protecting children from various\npotential risks in cyberspace,\u201d said the Chairman of the Buleleng\nEducation Council, I Made Sedana, in Singaraja, Bali, on Saturday. He\nemphasised that PP Tunas serves as a highly relevant legal umbrella for\nthe current situation to secure the future of children, especially the\nnation\u2019s succeeding generations in the northern part of the Island of\nthe Gods. His side assesses that advancements in information technology\nnot only bring benefits but also potential threats to child development\nif not managed wisely. According to him, the implementation of PP Tunas\ncannot proceed partially but requires strong synergy from the three main\npillars of education: family, school, and community. These three\nelements are known as the trisentra education concept, which play\ncomplementary roles in shaping character and child protection. Parents\nare expected to provide digital literacy from an early age, while\nbuilding open communication so that children can use digital devices\nsafely and responsibly. Meanwhile, schools as formal educational\ninstitutions have the responsibility to integrate digital literacy\neducation into the curriculum. Teachers not only act as educators but\nalso as guides who can direct students in understanding internet ethics\nand recognising potential dangers in the digital world. Furthermore, the\nBuleleng Education Council also highlights the importance of school\npolicies that support the implementation of PP Tunas.
