Building and area management is beginning to shift from manual\nprocesses and the use of separate applications towards integrated\ndigital systems. This change is driven by the need for operational\nefficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.<\/p>\n
Angel Tri Widiyanti, Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) of\nProapps Indonesia, stated that the digitalisation of property management\nmust address actual operational needs in the field.<\/p>\n
\u201cDigitalisation in property management is not enough to simply move\nadministrative processes into a digital system. Technology must be able\nto respond to the operational requirements that occur on the ground,\u201d\nsaid Angel during the Indonesia Property Management Association (IPMA)\nSeminar Workshop, themed \u2018Sustainable Building Management\nTransformation\u2019, held at Menara 165, South Jakarta, on Saturday\n(12\/9).<\/p>\n
During the event, Proapps introduced a property management platform\nthat integrates various operational activities into a single system. The\nplatform covers tenant data management, billing and payments, work\nrequests, work permits, fit-out permits, facility reservations, visitor\nmanagement, goods and parcel tracking, asset management, inspections,\nutility recording, HRIS, and accounting.<\/p>\n
Angel noted that integrated systems can reduce a building manager\u2019s\nreliance on manual reports. \u201cDecision-making no longer relies solely on\nmanual reports but can be supported by operational data presented within\na single ecosystem,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
According to Angel, the demand for property management technology is\nincreasing alongside the growing operational complexity of apartments,\noffice buildings, commercial areas, and mixed-use projects.<\/p>\n
\u201cTechnology can be used to accelerate work processes, reduce\nrepetitive administrative activities, increase data accuracy, and expand\nmanagement\u2019s visibility into building operational conditions,\u201d she\nadded.<\/p>\n
Proapps aims for its platform to be utilised across the apartment,\noffice building, commercial property, mixed-use development, and estate\nmanagement segments.<\/p>\n
