The National Board of Karang Taruna (PNKT) is holding a Training of\nTrainers (ToT) and retreat at Eco Edu Forest, Sentul, Bogor Regency,\nWest Java. Running until 2 August, the event serves as a platform for\ncapacity building, aligning organisational vision, and fostering\nsolidarity among officials from central to regional levels.<\/p>\n
The programme also includes social service initiatives, such as\ndonating school supplies to students at SDN Karangtengah 5 in Babakan\nMadang District and distributing clean water to local residents.<\/p>\n
Agus Maimun, the Committee Chairman, stated that the retreat is\ndesigned to synchronise the steps and direction of all Karang Taruna\nofficials. In addition to organisational training, participants will\nengage in outbound activities to strengthen camaraderie. \u201cThe ultimate\ngoal of this retreat is to ensure all officials are unified, possessing\nthe same movement and direction in managing the organisation,\u201d Agus said\nin a written statement on Friday.<\/p>\n
The retreat is attended by 107 national board members and 18\nprovincial-level Karang Taruna officials. Over the three-day period,\nparticipants will receive material from various speakers representing\ndifferent ministries to enhance leadership and organisational management\nskills.<\/p>\n
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, who attended the opening,\nexpressed his appreciation for the National Board of Karang Taruna\u2019s\nsystematic approach to organisational consolidation. He noted that the\nretreat and Training of Trainers are strategic steps to strengthen\nleadership down to the regional level. \u201cThis retreat and Training of\nTrainers will serve as the commander, compass, and leader of the\nnational consolidation movement,\u201d said Gus Ipul.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the National Board of Karang Taruna,\nBudisatrio Djiwandono, stated that the retreat is part of an effort to\nimprove the quality of Karang Taruna\u2019s human resources. He expressed\nhope that all participants would return to their respective regions with\nrenewed spirit to develop the organisation and increase community\nservice. \u201cWe hope that upon returning to their regions, colleagues will\nbring a new spirit and be able to deliver a real impact to the\ncommunity,\u201d said Budisatrio.<\/p>\n
The event was also attended by the Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the\nMinistry of MSMEs, M.
