PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has cumulatively
disbursed Rp 7.4 trillion in Housing Programme Credit (KPP) since the
programme’s launch. This achievement consists of Rp 5.4 trillion for the
supply side and Rp 2.0 trillion for the demand side.

BTN Corporate Banking Director Helmy Afrisa revealed that through
these two schemes, the financing reaches both the housing provision side
and productive communities in need of housing finance support.

“We have collaborated extensively with MSMEs, including developers,
building material stores, and contractors (supply side distribution).
Additionally, we have several existing customers who are entrepreneurs
on the KPP demand side,” said Helmy following a KPP Socialisation event
at Menara BTN, Jakarta.

As is known, KPP supply can be utilised by developers, contractors,
and building material traders with a credit ceiling of up to Rp 5
billion. Meanwhile, KPP demand provides financing of up to Rp 500
million for individual MSMEs to purchase, build, or renovate houses to
support business activities.

Helmy stated that the potential for KPP growth remains wide open. In
the Jakarta and surrounding areas, BTN recorded 353 interests with a
total ceiling of Rp 424.944 billion, consisting of 57 KPP supply
interests worth Rp 288.970 billion and 296 KPP demand interests worth Rp
135.974 billion.

According to him, the high level of interest indicates that the need
for housing finance comes from various sectors. The company will
continue to strengthen collaboration with the government, developers,
contractors, building material stores, and MSME players so that the
benefits of KPP can reach more people.

Helmy noted that strengthening KPP is also part of BTN’s efforts to
leverage the housing ecosystem built by the company to create a broader
economic impact.

“For productive communities, a house is not just a place to live, but
can also serve as a place of business and an asset that supports the
increase of family income. Therefore, we want housing finance to
contribute to business activities, increase productivity, and drive
community welfare,” said Helly.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas (PKP),
Maruarar Sirait, appreciated the implementation of KPP, which is
considered an instrument to encourage MSME players within the housing
ecosystem to move up the value chain.
",
