        "content": "<p>Looking ahead, BSI is committed to continuing to expand its social\nimpact through the optimisation of ZISWAF collection and distribution,\nincluding through strengthening digital services such as the BYOND by\nBSI superapp.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The President Director of PT Bank Syariah\nIndonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI), Anggoro Eko Cahyo, is optimistic that the\ncollection of zakat, infak, sedekah, and wakaf (ZISWAF) through various\nBSI payment channels can increase in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the donation collection last year reached Rp236\nbillion with a total of 10.5 million transactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see the 2026 trend for monthly ZISWAF collection figures being\nhigher compared to 2025. And as a bank, we are quite proud,\u201d said\nAnggoro Eko Cahyo in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the upward trend in donation collection is\nsupported by the increasingly growing customer base of the company,\nwhich has now reached 23 million customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLooking ahead, BSI is committed to continuing to expand its social\nimpact through the optimisation of ZISWAF collection and distribution,\nincluding through strengthening digital services such as the BYOND by\nBSI superapp,\u201d Anggoro stated.<\/p>\n<p>BSI\u2019s Retail Banking Director, Kemas Erwan Husainy, said that the\ncompany has so far collaborated with 628 ZISWAF institution\npartners.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that over the last five years, the company has collected a\ntotal of Rp545.46 billion in zakat from the public and customers through\nBSI\u2019s digital application.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, the Head of the National Amil Zakat Agency\n(BAZNAS) Collection Division, Rizaludin Kurniawan, stated that national\nzakat collection has the potential to reach Rp327 trillion per year.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that this potential comes from agricultural zakat of\nRp19 trillion, livestock zakat of Rp9.5 trillion, savings deposit zakat\nof Rp58 trillion, income and service zakat of Rp139 trillion, ASN zakat\nof Rp9 trillion, individual income zakat of Rp129 trillion, and\ncorporate zakat of Rp99 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>His side also appreciated BSI for encouraging corporate zakat\ncollection as well as Zakat Collection Units (UPZ), thus reaching Rp271\nbillion in 2025.<\/p>",
