        "content": "<p>Briton deported for visa infraction<\/p>\n<p>MEDAN: The North Sumatra immigration office on Wednesday<br>\ndeported Briton Robert Herbert Clek, 40, putting him on a<br>\nMalaysia-bound ferry from Belawan port.<\/p>\n<p>According to an immigration officer, the Briton was found to<br>\nhave overstayed his visa and his passport expired on Oct. 6,<br>\n1998.<\/p>\n<p>Quoting the immigration official's data, Antara reported in<br>\n1998 North Sumatra deported 129 foreigners, including nationals<br>\nof the United States, Germany, Britain, Bangladesh, the<br>\nNetherlands and Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Eighty-four were deported from Medan, four from Pematang<br>\nSiantar, seven from Tanjung Balai, 13 from Sibolga and 21 from<br>\nPadang Sidempuan.<\/p>",
