        "content": "<p>Briton and Filipino face murder charge<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): A Briton and a Filipino have been jointly<br>\ncharged in a court in Labuan island, off Malaysia's eastern state<br>\nof Sabah, with the murder of a man and a woman, the British High<br>\nCommission confirmed yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>A British High Commission official said he could only confirm<br>\nthat the 48-year old Briton, Ian Daniel Miller, had been charged.<br>\nThe official said the British consul in Kota Kinabalu would<br>\nassist Miller.<\/p>\n<p>Miller and Rikason Alip Piblani, 34, were charged in Labuan on<br>\nSaturday with the killing of Filipino Erwin Harina, 26, and a<br>\nwoman of unknown nationality, Jocelyn Dumpor, at a house in<br>\nLabuan between May 19 and June 14.<\/p>\n<p>Piblani was arrested on July 21 while Miller was caught on<br>\nSeptember 18. No plea was recorded and magistrate Caroline Bee<br>\nMajanil ordered Miller and Piblani to be further remanded. They<br>\nface the death sentence if convicted for murder.<\/p>",
