Bripka Anugrah Tri Febriantara, an innovative police officer from the Sulawesi Tenggara Regional Police (Polda Sultra), has developed three IT applications to streamline personnel operations, including a weapons data system now used across multiple police units and adopted in other regions. His contributions, which modernise processes like assessment centres and career management, earned him a Silver Pin from the National Police Chief in 2024 and a nomination for the 2026 Hoegeng Awards, highlighting the integration of technology in enhancing public service efficiency. These innovations not only improve internal police functions but also foster collaborations with local governments, generating non-tax state revenue through assessment services.

Bripka Anugrah Tri Febriantara is one of the innovative police
figures at the Sulawesi Tenggara Regional Police (Polda Sultra). As a
staff member in the Sub-section for Position Mutation under the Career
Development Division of the Human Resources Bureau at Polda Sultra, he
has created several applications to facilitate personnel work, one of
which is the weapons asset data application for Polda Sultra.

For his innovation, Bripka Anugrah has been nominated for the 2026
Hoegeng Awards. He is recognised for his achievements due to his IT
talent, demonstrated by developing three applications to support Polda
Sultra’s operations.

The first application created by Bripka Anugrah is the Sultra Police
Weapons Data Information System for the Logistics Bureau of Polda
Sultra. The idea for this application came from the then Deputy Chief of
Polda Sultra, Brigjen Pol Waris Agono, who tasked Bripka Anugrah with
developing it.

“He (Waris Agono), when he was Deputy Chief here, requested an
application for weapons data, which Bripka Anugrah created and
implemented at Polda Sultra. Then, when Brigjen Waris Agono moved to
Korbrimob, it was also implemented there. Later, when Irjen Waris Agono
became Chief of Police in North Maluku, Bripka Anugrah was called to
develop this application in North Maluku,” said the Head of Public
Relations and Protocol of the Human Resources Bureau at Polda Sultra,
Kompol Adeng, to detikcom on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

Kompol Adeng stated that the weapons data application is still in use
by the Logistics Bureau of Polda Sultra to this day. However, he noted
that the application requires further development.

“In the future, it will include GPS in the weapons, planning to
install GPS on the weapons. So if they are lost or to track their
location, it will connect to this application. But the GPS has not been
installed yet because it needs development and funding,” he said.

Secondly, Bripka Anugrah created the Ingat-AC application, or
Integrated Joint Assessment Centre, in 2020. However, Kompol Adeng
mentioned that the Ingat-AC application is no longer in use by Polda
Sultra’s Human Resources.

“This is an application to compile scores from sessions in assessment
centre activities. It integrates various assessment pools for
participants,” he explained.

The third application created by Bripka Anugrah is Si Jago, or the
Position and Rank Data Information System, to facilitate Human Resources
operations in career development and position tenure within Polda
Sultra’s jurisdiction. This application is also no longer in use.

“Now it’s not used because it’s web-based, and it requires costs and
updates, so it’s not used by the Career Development section of Human
Resources (Polda Sultra),” said Kompol Adeng.

Not only talented in IT, Bripka Anugrah is regarded as a good and
obedient police officer who adheres to rules and superiors’ orders.
Evidence of this is that Bripka Anugrah has never been recorded as
violating police ethics or discipline codes.

“His personality (Bripka Anugrah’s) is good, with no prominent issues
and no punishments ever. My message is for him to remain consistent with
his ideas to be even more beneficial, especially for the Indonesian
public in general,” he said.

As known, Bripka Anugrah is a candidate for the 2025 Hoegeng Corner.
In an interview with detikcom, he recounted the origins of creating the
three applications that assist Polda Sultra personnel work.

“The initial application project was Ingat-AC, or Integrated Joint
Assessment Centre for evaluations. Then there was the weapons data
information system, and finally Si Jago, the Position and Rank Data
Information System to facilitate Human Resources operations in career
development, position tenure,” said Bripka Anugrah in a conversation
with detikcom on Friday (7/11/2025).

The Ingat-AC application is web-based. It facilitates assessors in
evaluating participants. These assessments are typically for performance
evaluations of members, internal Police position auctions. Recently,
local governments have also collaborated with the Police’s assessment
centre for position auctions.

“So the Police has an assessment centre in Human Resources. It’s used
by local governments or for internal Police positions, and even
districts or cities can collaborate with the Police assessment. For
example, from here, we still collaborate with HQ, with implementation at
Polda Sultra,” he said.

With this application, assessors’ work is made easier. Because all
evaluation results are done digitally.

“It modernises the assessors; previously, evaluations used paper,
noting interview results, discussion results, using manual formulas
written on paper then inputted. Now we modernise it; assessors can
access via their tablets or phones and input there. Then the integrated
evaluation shows whether the participant qualifies or not digitally,” he
explained.

Bripka Anugrah created the Ingat-AC application in 2020. For this
innovation, he received a Silver Pin from the National Police Chief in
2024 as an implementer for improving cooperation with
Ministries/Institutions/Local Governments/Other Institutions/SOEs and
Non-Governmental Institutions in the Assessment Centre field for FY
2023.

“That Silver Pin was for assessment implementation; we were the
highest implementers in Indonesia at that time, with MoUs with about 15
districts, which we socialised to the ranks, so it was appreciated by
the Chief of Police. Because one of the MoUs between local governments
and the Police assessment centre is non-tax state revenue (PNBP), so
it’s one of the PNBP sources,” he clarified.

Bripka Anugrah said this digital-based assessment was first used at
Polda Sultra. He mentioned that the programme is now also used by
National Police Headquarters.

“It’s used in the assessment centre; what happened before actually
started from us, then there was also a system from the National Police
assessment centre, called DAC Mabes, named DAC Assessment, and its
function is actually similar.”
",
