It aims to\nbring children closer together throughout Indonesia. A centralised\ncommemoration model, whilst holding important symbolic value, may limit\ndirect involvement and tangible impact for children,\u201d said Ciput Eka\nPurwianti, Assistant Deputy for Service Provision for Children in Need\nof Special Protection at KemenPPPA, during a media talk in Jakarta on\nWednesday. \u201cThis transforms the event from a top-down spectacle into a\nmovement that grows from the grassroots,\u201d Ciput Eka Purwianti stated. A\nnumber of activities are being held as part of the 2026 National\nChildren\u2019s Day series, including the National Movement for Safe and\nComfortable Spaces for Children (Gernas RANA), the Jointly Protect\nChildren (Berlian) campaign, the Jelajah SAPA programme, the National\nChildren\u2019s Forum Workshop, and \u2018Anak Goes to Istana Negara Jakarta\u2019.\n\u201c\u2018Anak Goes to Istana Negara Jakarta\u2019 is an educational and\ninspirational activity that provides children with the opportunity to\nlearn about the environment and history of the Presidential Palace,\nwhilst fostering self-confidence, leadership, patriotism, and the belief\nthat their voices and roles are important for the nation\u2019s future,\u201d she\nsaid.
