        "content": "<p>The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has assessed that\nthe integrated blood service system innovation named \u2018SiDoni\u2019, developed\nby the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Tangerang Regency, is worthy of\nbeing applied widely at a national level.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of BRIN, Prof.\u00a0Arif Satria, stated in Tangerang on Friday\nthat the SiDon\uff0eDoni application is a domestic innovation deserving of\nnational implementation due to its ability to comprehensively trace the\nblood service chain, from donors to patients in hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SiDoni application is the result of domestic innovation that is\nwell-suited for national use. Because this application can holistically\nbe traced within the system, starting from the donor up to the recipient\nor patient in the hospital,\u201d said Arif.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Dr Zainal Muttaqin explained that SiDoni does not only\nfunction as an information bridge for donors in the Tangerang Regency\narea\u2014providing information on donation schedules, cross-blood type\nstocks, registration forms, and activity news\u2014but also serves a broader\npurpose.<\/p>\n<p>As a further development step, Zainal noted that the SiDoni\napplication is being prepared to participate in the Innovation Summit\nand Expo (IISE), scheduled to take place in December 2026 at ICE BSD,\nTangerang.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParticipation in this event is expected to provide a platform to\nintroduce SiDoni more widely, while simultaneously opening opportunities\nfor development and innovation collaboration in blood services at a\nlarger scale,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this digital transformation is the primary strategy for\nPMI Tangerang Regency in delivering public services that are fast, easy,\nintegrated, and accountable.<\/p>\n<p>Through this system, it is hoped that the blood management ecosystem\nwill become fully connected, from the donation process to its\nutilisation for patients in hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough synergy with BRIN, PMI Tangerang Regency is optimistic that\nthis local innovation will not only serve as a regional solution but can\nalso become an inspiration and strategic reference for the national\nblood service transformation in the future,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
