        "content": "<p>BRIN Head Arif Satria said in a press release received here on\nSaturday that the research projects are scheduled to be carried out in\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>The topics were compiled through a forum involving ministry\nsecretaries-general to identify research needs in support of policy\nformulation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2026, we have prepared 177 policy research topics. These topics\nwere identified through a forum involving all ministry\nsecretaries-general, who conveyed their research needs. As a result, the\npolicy research we conduct is based on the needs of the ministries,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Arif noted that the research priorities proposed by ministries may\nnot fully address more fundamental issues.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, BRIN is also inviting input from the House of\nRepresentatives\u2019 Commission X to ensure that its research is more\nrelevant to the needs of the public.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, BRIN is strengthening research in the sports sector by\nestablishing a Sports Research Organization and enhancing collaboration\nwith universities.<\/p>\n<p>Arif expressed hope that the initiative would promote the\nscience-based development of national sports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBRIN is currently establishing a Sports Research Organization, which\nwill be strengthened through Research Collaboration Centers with\nuniversities.
