        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 Head of the Centre for Society and Culture Research at the\nNational Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Aulia Hadi Ph.D, said\nthat Indonesia\u2019s animation industry is currently showing significant\nprogress with talent capacity and the quality of work judged to have\nreached global competitive standards. \u2018Today this clearly underlines\nthat we now have technical capacity, as well as talented human\nresources, and the creativity of the nation that have reached global\ncompetitive standards,\u2019 Aulia said at the launch and press conference\nfor the Indonesia Animation Report 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday. He stated\nthat the growth of the national animation industry over the past decade\nhas shown an increasing contribution to Indonesia\u2019s creative economy.\n\u2018Moreover, the surge in IP revenues in this sector, particularly in\n2025, is also a marker that a new era is emerging in the creative\neconomy based on intellectual property wealth,\u2019 he added. He noted that\nIndonesia has great potential in developing creative IP because of the\ndiversity of local stories and characters. According to Aulia, the\nreport also maps out various strategic dimensions of the national\nanimation industry, from industry structure and financing to business\nmodel transformation and the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI).\n\u2018This report also simultaneously maps all strategic dimensions of the\nanimation industry in Indonesia,\u2019 he said. \u2018We hope the Indonesia\nAnimation Report 2026 can serve as a strategic foundation for us, both\nto implement more progressive policies, for stronger collaboration, and,\nof course, for the future of Indonesia\u2019s animation industry,\u2019 Aulia\nconcluded.<\/p>",
