        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) is working to\nstrengthen its funding structure by boosting low-cost funds\n(CASA\u2014Current Account and Savings Accounts).<\/p>\n<p>Aquarius Rudianto, Director of Networking and Retail Funding at BRI,\nstated that the growth in low-cost funds continues to be supported by a\ndigital channel optimisation strategy, which has demonstrated positive\nperformance.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that BRImo, the application for retail customers, has\nrecorded significant growth. Active users increased 18.9% year-on-year\nto 45.9 million in December 2025. Transaction value reached Rp7,076.9\ntrillion, growing 26.4% year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Qlola application, targeted at mid-market and\ncommercial as well as corporate customers, also showed strong growth.\nActive users reached 113,000, up 48.1% year-on-year, with sales volume\nincreasing 36.2% year-on-year to Rp13,456 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Aquarius continued that from the merchant side, business transaction\nvolumes through BRI also increased rapidly. Merchant sales volume rose\n48.1% year-on-year to Rp223.2 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>BRI QRIS also showed an increasing trend, with sales volume up 100%\nyear-on-year to Rp85.6 trillion. The transaction count grew 127.5%\nyear-on-year to more than 782.8 billion transactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis achievement confirms that BRI\u2019s digital transformation not only\nstrengthens the low-cost funding base but also expands an inclusive\ndigital payment ecosystem for all segments of society,\u201d said Aquarius at\na financial performance press conference on Thursday, 26 February\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, BRI\u2019s President Director, Hery Gunardi, stated\nthat the bank for the common people had successfully boosted the\ncomposition of low-cost funds. He noted that the CASA proportion, which\nstood at 66.6% of third-party funds in 2024, increased to approximately\n71% last year.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, BRI\u2019s third-party funds grew 7.4% year-on-year to\napproximately Rp1,466.84 trillion on a consolidated basis. Current\naccounts recorded growth of 19.7% year-on-year and savings rose 7.9%\nyear-on-year, reflecting a strengthening of retail and\nnon-wholesale-based funding structure.<\/p>\n<p>BRI\u2019s liquidity also remained well-maintained with a loan-to-deposit\nratio (LDR) at 91.4%, still in the ample category to support sustainable\ncredit expansion.<\/p>",
