Police found the 19-year-old woman,\nidentified as NAS, staying with her ex-boyfriend at a hotel in Jepara.\nAs a result, her fianc\u00e9 decided to cancel the wedding.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred on Thursday, 21 May. NAS was scheduled to marry\nMusalim, a 33-year-old resident of Tlogowungu, at 9:00 AM WIB.<\/p>\n<p>However, around 3:00 AM, NAS contacted DF, an 18-year-old man\nsuspected to be her ex-boyfriend. DF helped her leave the house. By 3:30\nAM, her family realised she was missing and reported it to the\npolice.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The female family of NAS (19) visited Tlogowungu Police Station\ntoday to report her disappearance without notice,\u2019 said Pati Police\nPublic Relations Officer Ipda Hafid Amin, cited from detikJateng on\nSunday, 24 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The female family reported her absence at around 3:30 AM on\nThursday, 21 May,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>Pati Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief Kompol Dika Hadian\nWidya Wiratama confirmed NAS left the house with assistance from a\nman.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The sequence of events confirms the bride left the house with help\nfrom a male companion at 3:00 AM,\u2019 said Dika on Saturday, 23 May\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018She contacted the male companion to help her leave the house, as her\nwedding was scheduled for 9:00 AM,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>Police traced NAS\u2019s whereabouts and located her at 5:15 AM on\nSaturday, 23 May at RedDoorz Near Turut Hotel in Jepara. She was with\nDF, and a Honda Beat Street motorcycle was found at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Both were detained by officers at 5:15 AM on Saturday, 23 May 2026,\nat a hotel in Jepara Regency,\u2019 said Tlogowungu Police Chief AKP\nMujahid.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The man is suspected to be her boyfriend,\u2019 Mujahid added.<\/p>\n<p>Wedding Cancelled<\/p>\n<p>After police mediation, Musalim decided to cancel the wedding and did\nnot file an official police report.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Formally, no report was filed. The female family simply asked us to\nhelp locate her,\u2019 Mujahid said on Sunday, 24 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018They chose not to proceed with a formal report and have accepted the\nsituation amicably, with no official police complaint,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The groom has cancelled the wedding and does not wish to proceed,\u2019\nMujahid stated.<\/p>",
