        "content": "<p>PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) and PT Permodalan Nasional\nMadani (PNM) have implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)\nprogramme through a mangrove seedling planting event themed \u2018Green\nImpact\u2019 in the coastal area of Untia Village, Makassar.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative represents a tangible collaboration to support\nenvironmental conservation and strengthen coastal ecosystems, which play\na crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, reducing coastal\nerosion, and aiding carbon absorption.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees included Asniar Asnawi, Branch Manager of BRI Insurance\u2019s\nMakassar Branch; Sugiarto, Deputy Branch Manager of PNM\u2019s Makassar\nBranch; and Helmy Budiman, Head of Makassar City Environment Office.<\/p>\n<p>Also present were Djamrud Damayanti, a local community leader from\nUntia Village; Fadli PADI, founder of the Butta Porea Indonesia\nFoundation; and representatives from various local community groups.<\/p>\n<p>The event commenced with opening remarks, followed by the signing of\na handover report for the 7,000 mangrove seedlings to the Untia Village\nGovernment, a symbolic handover of the seedlings, and the presentation\nof mangrove planting awards by Mr.\u00a0Fadli PADI to PNM and BRI\nInsurance.<\/p>\n<p>Asniar Asnawi, Branch Manager of BRI Insurance\u2019s Makassar Branch,\nstated that the activity is part of the company\u2019s commitment to\ndelivering sustainable environmental and community benefits through its\nCSR programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this mangrove planting programme, BRI Insurance aims to make\na tangible contribution to preserving coastal environmental\nsustainability while supporting the livelihoods of Makassar and\nsurrounding communities.
