Jakarta (ANTARA) - BRI Insurance has handed over a claim of\nRp1,165,800,000 to a customer in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, to\nsupport business continuity after heavy equipment was affected by a dyke\nbreach disaster, resulting in significant losses.<\/p>\n
BRI Insurance Branch Manager Ray Ardian Putra stated that the\nhandover of the heavy equipment claim worth Rp1,165,800,000 demonstrates\nthe company\u2019s commitment to providing asset protection for business\noperators.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope this claim fund can ease the burden and provide a sense of\nsecurity to continue their business, and with our commitment to\ndelivering the best service and protection in facing all unexpected\nconditions,\u201d Ray said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
He explained that the heavy equipment insurance claim payment was\ncarried out by the BRI Banjarmasin Ahmad Yani office to the customer\nnamed Akhyar Syahbana.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis claim is given for the incident of the dyke breach that caused\nthe customer\u2019s heavy equipment to be completely submerged and unable to\nbe seen,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
According to him, the incident had a significant impact on the\ncustomer\u2019s business operations, making the presence of insurance\nprotection very important in minimising the risk of losses.<\/p>\n
