        "content": "<p>BRI Distributes IDR 1.521 Trillion in Loans, Records Double-Digit\nGrowth Throughout 2025<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2014 PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk\n(BBRI) recorded double-digit loan growth throughout 2025, amid dynamic\nliquidity and slowing loan demand in the banking industry.<\/p>\n<p>BRI\u2019s Director, Hery Gunardi, revealed that as of the end of December\n2025, the company\u2019s credit grew 12.3% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 1.521\ntrillion. This figure is higher than the national banking credit growth,\nwhich is in the range of 9.6%.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBRI\u2019s credit growth remains in double digits by prioritizing\nprudence,\u201d said Hery during a financial performance press conference for\n2025, Thursday (February 26, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>BRI\u2019s Director of Treasury and International Banking, Farida Thamrin,\nexplained that credit expansion mainly came from the MSME segment, in\nline with the company\u2019s commitment as a bank focused on financing the\nproductive sector.<\/p>\n<p>As part of supporting government programs, as of December 2025, BRI\nhad distributed People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to IDR 170\ntrillion to more than 3.8 million debtors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe composition of MSME credit continues to dominate BRI\u2019s credit\nstructure,\u201d said Farida.<\/p>\n<p>Despite aggressively distributing MSME credit, asset quality remains\nwell-maintained. As of the end of 2025, the non-performing loan (NPL)\nratio was recorded at 3.07%, while the Loan at Risk (LAR) decreased from\n10.7% to 9.6%.<\/p>\n<p>BRI also maintains its reserves with an NPL coverage ratio of 178.1%,\nproviding a strong buffer against potential credit risks.<\/p>\n<p>On the funding side, BRI\u2019s third-party funds (DPK) grew 7.4% yoy to\naround IDR 1.466 trillion-IDR 1.497 trillion on a consolidated basis,\nwith a low-cost funds (CASA) ratio reaching 70.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Current accounts grew 19.7% yoy and savings increased 7.9% yoy,\nreflecting the strengthening of retail and non-wholesale based funding\nstructures.<\/p>\n<p>BRI\u2019s liquidity is also maintained with a Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR)\nat 91.4%, still in the ample category to support sustainable credit\nexpansion.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) is at 136.9% and the\nNet Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) is at 117.7%, well above the minimum\nregulatory requirements of 100%.<\/p>",
