PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, through its Corporate\nSocial Responsibility (CSR) programme \u2018BRI Peduli\u2019, has once again\nimplemented the \u2018Sharing Happiness Together with BRI\u2019 activity. In this\nprogramme, BRI distributed food aid consisting of 279,000 packages to\ncommunities in various regions across Indonesia.<\/p>\n
In addition, BRI provided assistance to 8,500 orphans in orphanages\nspread throughout Indonesia. Each food package contains rice, cooking\noil, granulated sugar, and other basic necessities. The distribution of\nthe food aid was carried out by representatives of BRI\u2019s 18 Regional\nOffices across Indonesia, involving all employees of the BRI Group.<\/p>\n
BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny stated that the \u2018Sharing Happiness\nTogether with BRI\u2019 programme is a social care initiative organised by\nBRI Peduli in collaboration with YBM BRILiaN during the holy month of\nRamadan to strengthen social solidarity and provide tangible benefits to\nthe community.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe ensure that the aid reaches the community by involving all BRI\nemployees in every work unit spread across Indonesia. We also hope that\nthe food aid and assistance can help alleviate the burden on the\ncommunity as well as residents and orphans living in orphanages,\u201d said\nDhanny in a written statement on Thursday (19\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
He added that this programme is also in line with the government\u2019s\nAsta Cita, where the distribution of food aid aims to ensure the\nfulfilment of basic needs for the community and increase interfaith\ntolerance to achieve a just and prosperous society.<\/p>\n
\u201cBRI consistently carries out its social obligations, strengthens its\nrole as one of the pillars of the national economy, and provides\npositive benefits to the environment and surrounding communities,\u201d he\nconcluded.<\/p>\n
On a separate occasion, Agus Surahman, a representative of residents\nfrom Menteng Dalam Ward, Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta, said that the\nfood aid from BRI Peduli helps alleviate economic burdens and encourages\nimproved nutrition for the community in his area.<\/p>\n
