        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2014 The Financial Services Authority (OJK)\nconducted raids on the office of a securities firm with the initials PT\nMASI located in Treasury Tower, in the Sudirman Central Business\nDistrict (SCBD), Jakarta, on Wednesday 4 March 2026, as part of a\nlaw-enforcement process into alleged criminal acts in the capital\nmarket. For information, a number of securities firms with offices in\nTreasury Tower include Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, NH Korindo\nSekuritas Indonesia, KAF Sekuritas Indonesia, Buana Capital Sekuritas,\nRHB Sekuritas Indonesia, and Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia. This action\nrepresents a firm step by OJK to safeguard integrity, transparency, and\npublic trust in Indonesia\u2019s capital-market industry. The search\nconducted by the OJK Investigation Team was part of the development of\nthe investigation into alleged manipulation of material information that\nviolates Article 104 in conjunction with Article 90 subsidiarily Article\n107 of Law No.\u00a08 of 1995 on the Capital Market, relating to the failure\nto disclose the affiliated party receiving fixed allotment in an initial\npublic offering (IPO) and the submission of IPO fund-use reports that do\nnot reflect actual conditions. The manipulation of reports and\ninformation is thought to involve the securities firm. In addition,\ninvestigators found alleged dummy transactions as regulated by Article\n104 in conjunction with Article 91 of Law No.\u00a08 of 1995 on the Capital\nMarket, comprising transactions between affiliated parties involving\nseven corporate entities and 58 individual nominees, executed by six\noperators under the suspect\u2019s control. The series of transactions is\nbelieved to have caused BEBS share prices in the regular market to rise\nsignificantly, by around 7,150 percent. The alleged capital-market\ncrimes occurred between 2020 and 2022 and are suspected to involve\nMr.\u00a0ASS, as the beneficial owner of PT BEBS, Mr.\u00a0MWK, the former\nDirector of Investment Banking at PT MASI, and the corporate entity PT\nMASI, with insiders trading, IPO manipulation, and dummy transactions as\nthe modus operandi. In handling the case, OJK investigators have\nexamined 25 witnesses from PT MASI, PT BEBS, banking entities, nominees,\nand other related parties.
