        "content": "<p>The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite began trading in the red\non Tuesday (29\/09\/2026). According to Stockbit data at 09:00 WIB, the\nindex stood at the 6,084 level, down 69 points or 1.1% compared to the\nprevious close.<\/p>\n<p>During the opening session, the IDX Composite opened at 6,118.81. In\nthe early movement, the index traded within a very narrow range,\nreaching a high of 6,125.53 and a low of 6,116.25.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of trading activity, transaction volume was recorded at\n11.48 million lots with a transaction value of Rp237.63 billion. This\nfigure remains early as the market has only just opened and is subject\nto change as the session progresses.<\/p>\n<p>Pressure on the IDX Composite occurred alongside the commencement of\na new Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) policy, which reduced the minimum\nshare price from Rp50 to Rp1 per share in the regular and cash markets\nstarting Monday (28\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The change is also accompanied by adjustments to auto-rejection\nlimits. For shares priced between Rp1 and Rp10, the Upper Auto Rejection\n(ARA) and Lower Auto Rejection (ARB) limits are set at Rp1, while the\n15% asymmetric ARB remains applicable for shares priced above Rp10 until\nthe end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The IDX stated that the change in minimum price is intended to expand\nthe trading range of stocks, improve the quality of price discovery,\nboost liquidity, and provide greater flexibility for investors in\nmanaging their portfolios.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, external pressures continue to shadow the domestic\nmarket.
