(BBRI) recorded a net profit of Rp 15.5\ntrillion throughout the first quarter of 2026. This achievement\nrepresents a 13.74% increase year-on-year (yoy).<\/p>\n<p>According to its financial report, BRI\u2019s interest income rose 5.94%\nyoy to Rp 52.83 trillion. In line with this growth, interest expenses\ndecreased by 9.31% to Rp 12.68 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>In its intermediation function, BRI disbursed total credit and\nfinancing amounting to Rp 1,562 trillion, up 13.7% yoy in the first\nquarter of 2026. The disbursement of People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR)\nreached Rp 47.09 trillion, benefiting 947,000 customers. BRI also\nprovided housing financing liquidity facilities (FLPP) worth Rp 17.13\ntrillion to 125,000 loan customers.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this growth, credit quality declined, as reflected in the\ngross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio, which rose to 3.31%. Meanwhile,\nthe net NPL also increased to 1.01%.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of funding, BRI successfully mobilised third-party funds\n(DPK) of Rp 1,555 trillion, growing 9.4% yoy. The composition of\nlow-cost funds, or CASA, reached 68.1%.<\/p>\n<p>The loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR) increased to 87.66% as of the first\nquarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>BRI\u2019s total assets grew 7.2% yoy to Rp 2,205 trillion as of March\n2026.<\/p>",
