In contrast, Makassar, Tanjung Priok and Balikpapan seaports experienced a 29.3 percent, 19.3 percent and 1.7 percent increase.<\/p>\n<p>However, the director of sea freight traffic at the Transportation Ministry, Leon Muhammad, questioned the BPS data samples, saying it may have only been taken from larger city ports.<\/p>\n<p>However, Leon said, a decline took place in international sea freight due to a weakening regional economy early last year, kontan.co.id reports.<\/p>",
