Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Financial and Development\nSupervisory Agency (BPKP), Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, stated that the budget\noutlined in the BPKP Work Plan and Budget (RKA) for the 2027 Fiscal Year\nis IDR 2.19 trillion.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt consists of two parts: a development oversight programme of IDR\n5.67 billion and management support of IDR 1.62 trillion,\u201d Ateh said\nduring a Working Meeting with Commission XI of the House of\nRepresentatives (DPR), according to an official statement in Jakarta on\nFriday.<\/p>\n
For 2027, the BPKP budget allocation is directed towards development\noversight programmes and management support for oversight, including\ntechnical oversight requirements and capacity building.<\/p>\n
Ateh explained that one of BPKP\u2019s work plans involves overseeing\ncurrent issues, targeting several of the government\u2019s priority\nprogrammes. These include the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme, the\nimplementation of the Garuda Superior Senior High School; People\u2019s\nSchools; and the development and operation of the Merah Putih\nVillage\/Sub-district Cooperatives.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the scope includes the Merah Putih Fishing Village; the\ndevelopment and revitalisation of early childhood, primary, and\nsecondary education units; education digitalisation; the development and\nrevitalisation of community health centres (Puskeslar) and health\nlaboratories; as well as the eradication of poverty pockets.<\/p>\n
From a state finance perspective, oversight is directed towards\nstrengthening financial accountability through the optimisation of state\nrevenue, improving the quality of central, regional, and village\ngovernment spending, managing separated state and regional assets, and\noptimising government financial financing.<\/p>\n
BPKP\u2019s 2027 oversight also places human resource development as a\nprimary focus, specifically within the education, health, and social\nprotection sectors.<\/p>\n
\u201cBPKP will also encourage oversight of economic growth and community\nempowerment. The focus includes increasing the productivity of MSMEs\n(Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), industrial downstreaming,\nstrengthening infrastructure, and the governance of mining and palm oil\nplantations within forest areas, including the strengthening of national\nenergy security as a foundation for sustainable economic growth,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
In the food sector, oversight is directed towards ensuring increased\nfood production while maintaining food affordability and availability\nfor the public.<\/p>\n
Budgetary support for the development oversight programme is also\naimed at strengthening government internal controls, fraud prevention,\nincreasing the capability of Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus\n(APIP), and managing the government\u2019s digital transformation.<\/p>\n
