        "content": "<p>The Hajj Financial Management Board (BPKH) has channelled more than\n108,000 basic food packages to various regions throughout Ramadan 2026.\nThe programme represents one manifestation of distributing social\nbenefits from hajj fund management to the community.<\/p>\n<p>Based on BPKH data, of the total 110,000 basic food packages\napproved, 108,075 packages have been allocated to numerous provinces. To\ndate, approximately 76,075 packages have been distributed, with the\nremainder still undergoing procurement and distribution processes.<\/p>\n<p>Head of BPKH Execution Board Fadlul Imansyah stated that the\ndistribution of assistance is directed towards helping meet the basic\nneeds of communities during Ramadan. The programme also forms part of\ndistributing the benefits of hajj funds through welfare activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough the BPKH Sharing Benefits Together programme this Ramadan,\nwe hope that the assistance distributed can help communities meet their\nbasic needs and strengthen the spirit of sharing and social care,\u201d said\nFadlul in a statement quoted on Thursday, 12 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The distribution of assistance reaches numerous regions including\nNorth Sumatra, East Java, West Java, Central Java, the Special Region of\nYogyakarta, Lampung, Banten, Bali, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan,\nSouth Kalimantan, Maluku, and Jakarta Special Capital Region.<\/p>\n<p>From all these regions, North Sumatra received the largest allocation\nof 17,200 packages. East Java obtained 10,425 packages and West Java\nreceived 8,500 packages.<\/p>\n<p>Member of BPKH Execution Board for Welfare Affairs Sulistyowati\nstated that the distribution of assistance is conducted in partnership\nwith several national philanthropic organisations. This cooperation is\nundertaken to broaden the reach of assistance distribution in the\nregions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough collaboration with various welfare partners, we endeavour to\nensure that assistance distribution can run effectively and reach more\nbeneficiaries across different regions,\u201d said Sulistyowati.<\/p>\n<p>In its implementation, BPKH cooperates with several organisations\nincluding Baitulmaal Muamalat, NU Care-Lazisnu, Lazuq, Lazismu, Rumah\nZakat, and the National Zakat Collection Agency (Baznas). Assistance\ndistribution is carried out through networks of social organisations,\nIslamic boarding schools, mosques, and community organisations in the\nregions.<\/p>",
