Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2014 Audit Board (BPK) member Fathan Subchi has\ndied. The National Awakening Party (PKB) announced the news through its\nofficial Instagram account on Sunday (25 October 2026).<\/p>\n
Before joining the BPK for the 2024\u20132029 term, Fathan served two\nterms in the House of Representatives (DPR), from 2014 to 2019 and from\n2019 to 2024, representing the PKB faction.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe PKB family extends its condolences on the death of Fathan\nSubchi,\u201d the party said in a post on its Instagram account.<\/p>\n
Mukhamad Misbakhun, chairman of House Commission XI, also paid\ntribute to Fathan in a post on his Instagram account. The two had served\ntogether on Commission XI while they were members of the House.<\/p>\n
\u201cMay Allah accept his good deeds and grant him the best place by His\nside,\u201d Misbakhun wrote.<\/p>\n
During his career, Fathan was also a lecturer at Prof Dr Moestopo\nUniversity (Beragama) in Jakarta, a position he had held since 2022,\naccording to his profile on the BPK website. He previously served as a\nspecial adviser to the Minister of Manpower from 2013 to 2014.<\/p>\n
He was also director of the NU Syirkah Muawanah Cooperative in\nJakarta from 2005 to 2012, and commissioner of PT Aman Sinar Lestari in\nJakarta from 2005 to 2010.<\/p>\n
Fathan earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from the Al-Aqidah Islamic\nInstitute in Jakarta in 2001. He later pursued master\u2019s and doctoral\nstudies at Prof Dr Moestopo University (Beragama), in 2022 and 2024\nrespectively. He was also a doctoral candidate at Brawijaya University\nin Malang.<\/p>\n
