        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2014 Member III of the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK)\nAkhsanul Khaq stated that the agency system of the Employment Social\nSecurity Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) has met established criteria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOverall, the BPK concludes that the management of the agency system\nhas met criteria with exceptions, demonstrating that governance\nfoundations are operational, but still require refinement,\u201d he told BPJS\nKetenagakerjaan Chief Executive Officer Saiful Hidayat during the\nsubmission of the Audit Report on Performance and Compliance in an\nofficial statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>BPJS Ketenagakerjaan operates a programme called Perisai, an acronym\nfor Indonesian Social Security Drivers, which aims to expand the\ncoverage and protection of employment social security, particularly for\ninformal workers and non-wage earners (BPU) and micro, small and medium\nenterprises (UMKM).<\/p>\n<p>The programme operates through an agency system, where Perisai agents\nassist with socialisation, registration, and education regarding the\nBPJS Ketenagakerjaan programme.<\/p>\n<p>The performance audit on the Effectiveness of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan\nMembership Management from 2024 through the first semester of 2025, and\nthe compliance audit on Agency System Management from 2023 through the\nfirst semester of 2025, were conducted based on the mandate of the BPK\nStrategic Plan 2025-2029.<\/p>\n<p>According to Akhsanul, this aligns with the National Medium-Term\nDevelopment Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029 and represents follow-up results\nreported by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.<\/p>\n<p>The development of follow-up actions on BPK recommendations for BPJS\nKetenagakerjaan reportedly shows a positive trend, with the majority of\nrecommendations being implemented in accordance with guidance.<\/p>\n<p>On a separate occasion, the BPK also submitted an audit report on the\nEffectiveness of Indonesian Tourism Marketing Activities from 2023\nthrough the first semester of 2025 to the Ministry of Tourism\n(Kemenpar). The report was received directly by Tourism Minister\nWidayanti Putri, accompanied by Deputy Tourism Minister Ni Luh Enik\nErmawati.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe BPK conducts audits to assess the effectiveness of Indonesian\ntourism marketing activities in order to boost the national tourism\nsector economy. With strong commitment from all entities, it is hoped\nthat every recommendation can be implemented consistently to realise\nincreasingly effective, transparent, and results-oriented governance,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>",
